This watercolour landscape turned out rather colourful as I started off with turquoise blue, golden yellow and bright pink to establish the first wash. It may appear surreal but these exact colours are all present and visible at sunset depending on weather. These bright colours also make the scene very tranquil with the birds preparing to settle for the night on the mirroring lake. They only appear as dark shapes with the sun behind them. A rectangular piece of wall art that will bring vibrant colours into any home.
