I painted this autumn landscape from a photo that I took during an autumn tour in the Lake District in England. I liked the strong contrast of the bright orange foliage against the murky dark shadows of the trees in the lake. It ended up rather abstract but certainly expressive.
Watercolour on 300 gm cotton paper. Unframed. Size: 16 x 12 inches. Year: 2021.
